How long have you been in business?
Irvin's Books, formerly The Paperback Trade, has been serving the areas readers since 1976.
What is your primary product or service?
New and Used books at discount prices.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Irvin's Books is the area's only "full service" book store, offering all of those older titles by your favorite authors as well as their most recent releases. You earn 25% of the publishers price in "store credit" for the books you bring into the store. Your credit then gives you up to 75% off of the publishers price on used books that you purchase. Most of our childrens books are sold at a fraction of the publishers list price. Irvin's Books computerized inventory system will keep an individual history of the titles that you have already read to prevent purchasing the same book twice. Our computer system also keeps track of your store credit balance for you so you never have to worry about lost or misplaced credit slips, and allows us to "reserve" titles for you that may not be in stock at the time of your visit.

We are located in the Carlisle Commerce Center, directly across the street from Weis Market, on White Street in West York, just off US Rt 30's Carlisle Road exit.

Irvin's Books is locally owned and operated by Mount Wolf residents Terry and Gloria Irvin.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 A.M. till 6:00 P. M.
Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. till 8:00 P.M.
Saturday from 9:00 A.M. till 4:00 P.M.
